Morning Meeting.....
Good morning_______I like your....(we complimented our friends)...Here are a few things that kids said, I like your dress, I like your mohawk, I like your new shoes.
Then we played a matching game. Kids had to find their rhyming partner. Tree-Bee or Rake-Snake.

Math....
Last week we made our own number racks with 20 beads on them. Today we practiced using our number racks and we made numbers. Like five red beads and two white beads makes seven beads. Then we worked with partners and practiced some more. Dalton said, "That was so much fun!".
Four Winds....
Today we had our special visitor Stephanie, Sierra's mom, come in and talk to us about trees. We watched a little play, talked about what trees do. Here are some things that we discussed, "trees have leaves, are homes for animals, trees make maple syrup, trees take bad air from us and make good air for us like Oxygen."
We then looked at sample pieces of trees with magnifying glasses and examined them. We noticed the bark, the many lines, etc.
Then we went outside to find some leaves and did some leaf rubbing.
