BUS EVACUATION DRILL.....We had our first bus drill. Many have done this, some have not. As a reminder, our bus drivers Travis and John spoke to us about some rules on the bus. 1) Stay seated, face forward. 2) No moving around. 3) Say "hi," "good morning," "good afternoon," to your bus driver. 4) Be respectful.
MATH....
Today we made "snowman"parts in math. All of us had white boards and markers and Beth showed us a number and we had to make a snowman with that many parts.
LANGUAGE ARTS.....
Letters with ECHO.....We reviewed our letters, Ff, Tt, Bb, Mm and new letter Nn.
ECHO was teaching us that there is a difference in pronouncing the letter M and N. We checked our letter Nn bag. There was a napkin, number nine, necklace, notebook, newspaper, nail, nickle.
RECESS.....
Windy and cooler but we enjoy being outside.
QUIET READING..... or quiet group reading. :-)
There were some good conversations about the books that were being read.
