Kindergarten kids during COVID-19 WE MISS YOU ALL!!!

Hello Kindergarten!
Wow! WE MISS YOU ALL!!!!

WHAT'S THE NEWS?
Remember "what's the news?" We are doing to do it here! So, one way we thought we could stay connected as a class is to share photos of each other. We have collected a few photos from some of you. We hope to get more from you all, as time at home continues. This way you can see what each other has been doing while not at school. Beth and I have been enjoying seeing you all this way since we can't be in class together right now.

We hope you enjoy these pictures and please keep your families sending us more so we can share them with you all.  If you have any thoughts or announcements, let us know, we can share them here if you'd like.
Big Hugs! (I mean.... elbow bumps!) and Smiles!!!

Luke - took recess to the mountain.

Then he seemed to make a snowman. How did he get up there? Mr snowman is bigger than him!
I wonder what muscles he used to make this snowman?

Willow has been busy doing a science experiment with a egg.  She soaked an egg in vinegar for two days and the outer shell came off. Willow what did you do with the egg after the shell came off?
Looks like you were having fun!

Ava, working in her Handwriting book.
Way to go Ava. Looks like you are practicing good letter formation with your name.

We must have gotten some snow this week. I see a theme happening here. Perhaps the snowmen are friends. Nava, does your snowman know Luke's snowman? What muscles did you use?

Connie is busy working casually on some emails and the Kindergarten blog, while Bosco(German Shepard) and Bailey (Black Lab) sit waiting patiently for their recess time!
(Oh, that large display case behind me I cleaned out this week. Every item off every shelf and dusted and windex all things glass, whew!) (photo cred: her son, Jonathan)

Looks like Fin has started his Morning Activities with a little lego building.
What are you building Fin? Any guesses friends?

Hollis is rockin' it during Language Arts time. He has been practicing writing in his Handwriting book.
Are you practicing writing letters neatly Hollis? Lookin' good buddy!

Ava being a big helper taking care of the horses.
How many horses do you have to take care of Ava?

Sawyer took a nature walk with is cool shades. Did you find anything cool out there Sawyer? Did you see any birds? Maybe you will have some nature notes like we do at ECO.

Evelyn has been working hard making sap into syrup! Do you all like syrup?
Evelyn, do you know how many gallons of sap you need to make a gallon of syrup?

Sawyer and his sister made a volcano.
(I hope this video loaded. I couldn't tell if it did. If not, I apologize.)
