Morning Meeting....
Shapes!! We haven't done this in a long while. It's so great to go back and visit those things we had practiced so much but haven't done because we are working so hard on so many things. Well, today we went back to the shapes! Oh how awesome are we! We remembered our shapes and colors, whew, now we can graduate Kindergarten. 😊

Last day for our April "measuring" calendar.
These guys have really worked hard on learning the different tools that are used to measure.

This is what our chart was today. We are reading the chart, filling it in, adding punctuation and making math sentences!

Book Corner....
How I Became A Pirate  by Melinda Long. "Pirates have green teeth—when they have any teeth at all. I know about pirates, because one day, when I was at the beach building a sand castle and minding my own business, a pirate ship sailed into view. "

Pinocchio  "The Adventures of Pinocchio, also simply known as Pinocchio, is a novel for children by Italian author Carlo Collodi, written in Pescia. It is about the mischievous adventures of an animated marionette named Pinocchio and his father, a poor woodcarver named Geppetto."

A Pig Parade   by Michael Ian Black. "Could anything possibly be more fun than a pig parade!? You wouldn't think so. But you'd be wrong. A pig parade is a terrible idea. Pigs hate to march, refuse to wear the uniforms, don't care about floats, and insist on playing country music ballads. Those are just some of the reasons."

Ohh La Lottie!  by Karen Wallace. "Lottie La Belle loves her dog Patrick very much. Patrick won't eat vegetables, so why should she? Lottie turns to eating bread and cheese morning, noon and night. Her piano teacher is the first to notice a change. Eeek! What's that mouse tail doing dangling from under Lotties skirt?"
