Morning Activities.....

MATH.......

We have been working so hard in math with our numbers., counting, patterns. It's endless!  Best part is, the kids love it!!!  After we work together in a group setting, we then go off to do "stations" as seen below.  Our group activities include; finger flashes to 10!! Seeing a card with dots and having to draw on a white board that many objects. We even do activities with unifix cubes showing more, less and same.

LANGUAGE ARTS......

WOW are we learning a lot about letters! Did you know there are vowels in the alphabet? They help us make words. There are a couple different puppets that come out to help us with our letters. Echo the Owl and Magic C Bunny have been our special letter guests. Ask your child to talk to you about the letters they have learned. Come up with words that start with those letters too. Fun and games, made easy and educational!

Being the teacher.

FIT time. We have time 4 days a week where we spit up into small groups and focus on areas with the kids such as rhyming, fine motor skills, Lexia(computer based learning), etc.

SCIENCE......

Engineers! We continue to learn about Structure and Function. This week we worked on building our own houses that would be safe from the Big Bad Wolf.  Then we had a special visitor come by to see if our houses would stay up!

 THE BIG BAD WOLF COMES TO BLOW THE HOUSES DOWN!!!!! Was he successful? (Ask your child.)
