Spiders

Math....
Learning more about shapes. We worked with our pattern blocks. Built our own things.

More math..... we have been working on recognizing our numbers and understanding their place in the number line. Today we put a caterpillar in order, then numbers were taken away and kids had to identify what was wrong. Here's what we found; "the number one is missing." "the 3 is missing." "its only even numbers."  All the answers we got were true.

 Morning activities......

Spiders....
Fun facts about Spiders.
They make their sacks with their web. They bite. They live on their webs. They have egg sacks. The web comes out from the back of them (their bum). Sometimes they can be poisonous. They have 8 legs. They can live under rocks. They have hair on their legs. They have many eyes.

Four Winds.....
Kelly and Kevin came to class this week to teach us about the many critters living in the leaves and helping our leaves break down. Centipedes, spiders, slugs, worms, OH MY!!!

Looking for some critters we have learned about. We looked under leaves and rocks. In tree hollows.

And why not spend a few moments being Spiders on this wonderful structure. Kinda like a spider web!
Language Arts.....
