We can't say enough how much we MISS YOU!!!!
We hope you had a nice break last week.

We rocked the first handful of weeks remote learning and we will continue to rock our remote learning for the rest of this year.

Please know you can reach out to us any time with concerns, questions or just to share a moment in your life.
We are here for you!

Nature notes with Dave....
It was so great to have Dave with us during our morning meeting today. Thanks Dave for joining. Here is what we all had to report.

Dave: Shared his special sticks that he used as a talking stick and that he has used as his fire starting sticks. He also saw 14 turtles in a pond, all snapping turtles. He also had a close encounter with two little downy woodpeckers that flew right by his face (he could feel the air from their wings whisp by his face) as he was hanging out on his sit spot.

Connie : Has been watching a bald eagle flying around her house by the pond.

Nava: Has been seeing a little chipmunk that goes under her deck. She has seen it gathering food and then seeing it with big cheeks.

Greta: Has tad poles in their little pond that she keeps checking on. She is noticing that they are getting bigger.

Molly: Has been seeing lots of frogs.

Ginny: Has a small pond and has been watching frog eggs get bigger and bigger. She also noticed that the eggs are laid on  sticks that are dead in the water.

Evelyn: Saw 25 frogs and she also went salamander hunting too.

Laney : Saw a black bear in her forest. She drew a picture about it and wrote in her journal about it.

Hollis: Has a fox that comes to their house and it almost caught one of their chickens.

Nate: Saw a giant, giant garden snake! (Yikes!)

Ava: Has been watching ducks at her Nana's pond and she thinks they are making a nest and going to lay eggs.

Renna: Went to Reicher pond and caught a salamander. She also saw some ducks fighting.

Russell : Saw a moose in the gulf.

Luke: Went to the snow making pond and saw two beavers and they splashed too.

Fin: Saw 2 baby ducks that are really cute.

Willow: Saw a bird in a pond.

Tobin: Saw ducks nesting and has also caught a lot of frogs.

Beth: Saw a "rubber" salamander! Just kidding, come to find out it was a very cold, sleeping salamander.

Great job sharing today friends! You are all amazing! Keep checking things out in nature. Some things you can do:
*  Find a sit spot that you can go do daily if you can out in your yard, in the forest maybe, wherever you can just be with the wonderful surroundings of nature. Sit for a few minutes and each day or week, see what you notice has changed. Buds on trees, more birds, frogs croaking, worms unearthing themselves, grass turning greener. Take notes, draw pictures.
*  Make your own fairy garden.
*  Find yourself a talking stick and decorate it.
*  Find a rock and paint it or keep it as a special rock to hold.
*  Draw a picture while you sit at your sit spot.
*  Count how many birds you see.
*  Listen to the different sounds birds make. How many different birds do you think you heard?
*  Meditate.
*  Just be with nature and breathe! ❤
