And the Royal Reader is...... ANI!!!! Thank you Ani for reading us the awesome book Snip, Snip...Snow by Nancy Poydar.We also had the fun of making our own snowflakes and used our snips to make snowmen! Maybe with all the snowflakes, it will snow more for us to go out an make real snowmen.

In math we are using pan balances and continuing to learn about heavier and lighter. We worked with partners and we hunted around the room to find things that we thought would weigh about the same and then we tested our object in our pan balances to see if they were the same or different. It was really hard to find things that were the same!
For an afternoon snack, Beth brought in a special treat this past Friday...POMEGRANATE! Some kids have had it before, some have not. All were pleasantly surprised for this delicious treat! Thanks Beth!
