We started today with another "what's the news?" morning greeting. It was great to hear so many kids excited to talk about their Thanksgiving break with family and friends and good food.
Language arts we continue to work with Qq and Zz. Reviewing our letters and sounds. As well as learning to "read to self". We've done a lot with partner reading, but now we are transitioning into reading alone. Today a few kids, began sounding out words and found they could "READ".
In math we introduced three dimensional shapes. And today during free choice we had a new activity with Toobeez which are building tubes and spheres.
TOOBEEZ!
West - "I made a wand and a castle." Evan enjoyed the castle.
Earl - "I made a sun magical and a vacuum cleaner but better than the regular ones."
Bodhi - "I made a staff."
