LANGUAGE ARTS......
Letters with Echo.... today we learned the letter "Bb". Name, picture clue and sound. Echo brought out a bag of objects that start with the letter B. Here are some of the objects that the kids identified.
birch bark, bag, bow, belt, bus, Upper case B, bracelet. bouncy ball, button, bear, bell, bead, bean.
We also learned a rhyme for the letter Bb.
RECESS and FREE CHOICE...

Thayer making weirdo bugs again.
Nora made a car house. "It's getting really tall."
MATH...
We played a quick game of "5". We were in a circle and we worked on finger flashes today. This time we had a (paper) birthday cake and some (marker) candles. Beth would flash her fingers and kids had to put the candles on the cake. At the end of the lesson they all decorated their cake and made the same number of candles as their age.
BUG CREATIONS.....
Here are a few bugs we made today with tissue paper, pipe cleaners and a bug body.
