Morning activities-Morning Meeting

 Beading and water colors

Beth brought in a Cicada bug that she found at home. All the kids were very interested in this very large bug. And how it can live under ground for 2-17 years before it emerges as a nymph and climb the trees and shed their skeleton, growing stronger as a flying adult.

Pretending to be bugs around the room.

FREE CHOICE.....

Zoe - "I'm making this thing. It's such hard work, I'm sweating."
"This is the house, this is the little door."

Thayer has her own classroom. Her students are doing a great job learning.

Language Arts....
We continue to work on our letter "Tt". We have been practicing with wood pieces to make the letter "Tt", uppercase and lowercase. Here are a few pictures of the kids working together.

Beth's also has her friend "Echo" teaching the letter sound, picture clue and the name "Tt". Echo is a big hit with the kids.

Baden made the uppercase "T".

We also began learning the letter "Ff". Beth shared more objects starting with the letter "Ff".
