Royal Readers

We always read a book or a poem when we go to Language Arts. Today we started reading with our Royal Readers! Our Royal Reader gets to go to the front of the room and wear the "Crown" (crown starts with the letter "C" which is one of our new letters this week.) The Royal Reader gets to read, following along with the pointer and have the rest of the class follow along.

Eva and Ryder having their turn to be the Royal Reader.

In math we are adding numerals 6-9.  We played a mystery number game today. Ask your child about the game.

Our class of Engineers worked extremely hard today making their houses. We each had a bag with all the materials you needed to make a house. The Big Bad Wolf came in briefly, to let us know that he was coming to see our houses this week and to find the three little pigs. Our goal is to see if we can make a house that holds up to the Big Bad Wolf and not blow it down.

The Big Bad Wolf visits Kindergarten.

Maddie, Grady and Willis making strong houses! I wonder if the Big Bad Wolf will be able to blow these houses down?

DON'T FORGET THURSDAY (TOMORROW), IS OPEN HOUSE BBQ AT 5 p.m.
We hope to see you here!
