What's Expected

MORNING ACTIVITIES....

SHARING......
Dahlia shared her special lego guys.

West brought in his trumpet and played a couple sounds for us.

Willis shared that on his way to school he and his mom saw a deer in the road.

Grady shared his "S" clip with the class.

Ani came in today to talk about "what's expected" of us when we are in circle. Here are a few things we came up with....
* Sit and be quiet.
* Listen to the teacher.
* Raise your hand, don't talk out of turn.
* Getting your brain ready, thinking about what the teacher is saying.
Ani then read to us more of the book, You Are A Social Detective!  This book is an overview of key concepts that help to explore our own and others' social thinking.

MATH....
In math we are working on the teen numbers.  We are working on counting 10 and then some more.  Like 10 and 4 more is 14.  We have been playing games in pairs where students get to take turns being the teacher!  They really like that part!

We are hoping to have Four Winds tomorrow, Tuesday. Please make sure your child comes in with appropriate clothing and foot wear for going outside. Mother Nature is not sure if she wants
spring or winter right now, so please be sure your child has the option of being prepared for both. We really appreciate it.
