Kings, Queens and Knights! No better way than to greet your friends with a friendly bow or curtsy.
Math.....
Same, smaller, bigger, taller. We are working on measuring. Using unifix cubes we have been gathering items in the class to compare to the unifix cube stick.
Lenora found that her marker and pencil were bigger then her unifix cubes.
Measuring our fingers, Simon Says!
We traced our hands on white boards and then had to figure out how many cubes length was our thumb. Which finger was the same size as 4 unifix cubes. Etc.
Language Arts....
We the teachers! Everyone is given a letter card and each of us gets a turn to go to the front and teach the letter to the rest of the class. Everyone repeats after the "teacher".
We wrote words on our white boards. We are working on three letter words. Words we worked on are; map, mad, mat, sap, sat, sad.
